My cursed webserver setup is out to get me once again... I'm going to be away from it for a while, and my way to connect to it remotely suddenly stopped working for no reason. It randomly decided to start working again a few minutes ago and I quickly got in and fixed it, but whew.

It happened again, and this time for four days… what a pain. I had already written off the server as a lost cause and was JUST about to spin up a backup thing when a friend told me my site was working again. Just a little bit shocking, but what an amazing surprise.

Honestly I will say it would be nice to have an intermediary between this instance and all the federation so that I don't lose everything in the case of downtime, but I'm not sure that's possible.

Well, good news is all the stuff from the past few days is trickling in again! Glad to see federation's fairly resilient. Still think I should probably set up some sort of fallback someday... kubernetes is very intimidating, though.
